Finishing the Interior
Because modular homes are constructed in a factory, many elements are already installed before the home ever reaches your site. This allows for a faster and more predictable finish schedule once the modules are in place.
- Kitchens and Bathrooms Take Shape
Most cabinetry, countertops, sinks, and plumbing fixtures are installed in the factory. That means your kitchen and bathrooms already have their essential components in place, streamlining the finishing process. - Doors, Trim, and Hardware
Interior doors are typically hung on all non-connecting walls prior to delivery. Base trim, casings, and much of the interior detailing are also pre-installed, helping each space come together quickly. - Windows and Entry Doors
High-quality windows and exterior doors are installed in the factory under controlled conditions. This not only improves precision but ensures energy efficiency and weather-tight performance.
Electrical Fixtures and Finishing Touches
Some lighting and decorative elements are installed after the home is set. This includes fixtures that are shipped loose for protection during transit. We’ll complete these installations on-site to finalize your lighting plan and add those last design elements.
Completing the Exterior
While your home may arrive with a portion of the siding already in place, we will finish siding seams, connect utilities (such as plumbing, electric, and HVAC), and build out any custom exterior features like decks, porches, or steps. These on-site elements are essential for integrating the home into its landscape and meeting local building requirements.
The Final Stretch
After these finishing tasks are complete, we will walk through the remaining punch list items, confirm inspections, and prepare the site for move-in. Landscaping, driveways, and other exterior details are finalized so that when you get the keys, everything is ready for you to enjoy.
